Deep work — Cal Newport
My quick review of “Deep work”, by Cal Newport.
Deep work — Cal Newport
This is the first book by Cal Newport I read. It actually sat on a shelf for a few months after I bought it: I was always too busy to read it – or maybe I was too distracted?
The gist of this book is we could work a lot more efficiently if we were more focused. Do we really need to keep checking Twitter every 5 minutes? Are notifications on our smartphone that useful or do they just steal time away from us?
→ 5⁄5 I would recommend this book.
